Najmul Miah

Najmul Miah is the Communications Associate at the John P. and Anne Welsh McNulty Foundation. He supports integrated, multi-channel storytelling efforts, including the development and release of the award-winning, McNulty Prize official short films.

A firm believer in philanthropy’s unique convening powers and championship of bold ideas, Najmul has previously consulted on special communications projects and interned at the Mellon Foundation, Surdna Foundation, New York Foundation, and Panasonic’s Office of Social Impact.

Najmul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish, graduating summa cum laude from Middlebury College.

He can often be found messing around with clay or participating in creative writing workshops throughout New York City.
