I think you are most dangerous when your head and your heart are aligned, when your skills and your gifts are uniquely placed to drive change
As CEO of Echoing Green, one of America’s foremost incubators of social entrepreneurs, Cheryl Dorsey is an internationally recognized expert in non-profit and social enterprise building and leadership development. She is herself a product of the Echoing Green network, launching a community mobile health unit in Boston known as The Family Van. Since then she has served in two Presidential administrations and won numerous awards such as the Robert Kennedy Distinguished Public Service Award, among many others. Through her own work, the leaders she has uplifted through Echoing Green’s network, and through her experience as a Henry Crown Fellow to boot, Ms. Dorsey has the exact depth and breadth of experience to evaluate the diverse work of McNulty Prize applicants.
In her own example and through the examples of those her work amplifies, Cheryl’s own work exemplifies the kind of leadership we seek to amplify and catalyze through the McNulty Prize. We look forward to working with her in the coming years to identify and lift up transformative leadership around the world.
